Under the Disadvantages section above, there are a couple mistakes:
Broadband phone providers offer you online account access, so that you can update your billing and location information. One of the things that you can update is your E911 location. So, if you put in the address where the device is located, when you call 911 the operator does see the location you entered into that field.
You don’t need special phones to use VoIP phone service. You can just plug any regular phone you currently are using into your VoIP adapter and it will work.
Almost every VoIP company offers Caller ID, 3-way calling and more for free. Since everything is done digitally with software/softswitches, there isn’t any reason to charge for those things, especially with the market as tight as it currently is.
I’ve used voip in my home and office for about 6 years now, and since I have a good high speed internet connection, and I have my VoIP router plugged in in front of my computers, they get dibs on the bandwidth, and my service rocks. VoIP is a great way to save money, and if you haven’t tried it you should, especially when you consider the phone service you are currently paying $40 a month for is probably being sent via VoIP.
Thank you for your thoughts!
my sister is very good in installing VOIP equipments and i really admire her for that.,”*
