With all of the other amazing technology on the market, we are not surprised that now books have gone electronic, too. For those who like to read on the go but can’t lug around the books, an eReader is an excellent alternative. Below is a list of features available on the Sony eReader and the Kindle so that you can get an idea of which one you should choose if you are in the market for such a device.

While essentially these devices are meant to do the same thing, the Sony eReader seems to have a few obvious advantages. It holds many more books that the Kindle and has the ability to hold more with expanded memory. It also houses a built-in dictionary which can come in handy depending on the type of books you are reading. Checking out books from a variety of public libraries is also an attractive feature as well as the ability to charge it just about once every two weeks. The Kindle is priced just a little lower than the Sony eReader, but for an avid on-the-go kind of reader, the small price difference to get the extra features offered by the Sony eReader are definitely worth it.
