It holds many more books that the Kindle and has the ability to hold more with expanded memory. It also houses a built-in dictionary which can come in handy depending on the type of books you are reading. Checking out books from a variety of public libraries is also an attractive feature as well as the ability to charge it just about once every two weeks. The Kindle is priced just a little lower than the Sony eReader, but for an avid on-the-go kind of reader, the small price difference to get the extra features offered by the Sony eReader are definitely worth it.
